Friends list and deletion of characters - Guild Wars Forums

If the character whos name was originally added to someones friends list gets deleted, what happens?

When they log in under a different name, that name will show with the current name in parentheses.

Deleted Character (Other Character)

That's what would show up on their friends list.

"Deleted Character" being the original name they added to their friends list and "Other Character" being the character that you're on right now.

The friends list will not get updated even if you deleted that character. You will forever show up on their friends list as "Deleted Character", unless they remove you and add you back on as another name.
